Seasons of Being

"We cannot balance our hormones
whilst holding our breath."

For nine years, I lived with a fist of stress in my stomach. What I learned is that our bodies are ecosystems. Welcome to a space where we unify the physical and the emotional — here, we age not with resistance, but with grace.

Spring

The Season
of Formation

Learning the first steps of the dance

Spring is the season of rapid growth and discovery. It is when we first learn the steps of the dance, figuring out how to move and perform in the world around us. It is also the season where our childhood conditioning and shadow are set.

During these highly impressionable years, our nervous system records every unspoken expectation, every sudden grief, and every emotional bracing. We learn how to hold our breath. The physical holding patterns and the rhythm we build in Spring become the unconscious foundation — to keep us safe — for the seasons that follow.

The Season
of Output

The era of profound building

Summer is the season of peak external energy. This is the era of profound building — careers, relationships, and the physical and emotional thresholds of fertility, pregnancy, and mothering. Our menstrual cycle patterns are known and this pattern will carry itself into perimenopause, often much sooner than we are aware.

Amidst the demands of this season, we often learn to override our body's natural signals, pushing through exhaustion, unresolved feelings, and bracing our nervous systems to keep up with the rhythm. Our somatic practice here is about finding our own grounding tempo again, ensuring we do not lose ourselves in the momentum.

"We forget to tend to ourselves during this vastly dynamic season."

The Season
of Becoming

The joyous dance of coming home

Autumn marks the great biological shift of perimenopause into menopause and the emotional shift of finding your passion in life. All women experience the same changes of body and mind, wondering — where am I, who am I? You are not alone.

Just as the trees draw their energy inward and shed their leaves, this is a season of profound shedding. The fast, breathless dance of Summer must naturally slow. In this space, vulnerability is not a weakness, but a profound strength — it is an opportunity for a whole-being reset onto your true path.

"Autumn is the joyous dance of coming home to yourself, vibrant and free."

The Season
of Wisdom

Deep roots and profound stillness

Winter is the season of deep roots and profound stillness. Walking your soul's path aligned with your true nature. The noise of the external world quietens, and the energy returns entirely to the core.

The dance of Winter is not about great physical exertion — it is about minimal, highly intentional movement that holds immense spiritual clarity. Here the accumulation of all of life's experiences are shared with those in our circle through teaching and love. Having integrated the shadow and adapted through the great shifts of life, the body becomes a vessel of pure wisdom.

Meet Your Guide

A Lifetime
in Movement

My relationship with the body began through discipline and performance. My childhood was not the best so dancing was this little girl's great escape. As a professional dancer in my younger years, my focus was entirely on following my passion through movement, fitness and what I consumed to sustain that level of output.

Over time, my focus shifted from how the body performed to how it healed. I began to explore the connection between the physical form and the internal landscape — yoga, tai ji, and meditation. This initiated a deep immersion into Eastern philosophy and psychology, eventually becoming a qualified shiatsu practitioner specialising in infertility, pregnancy and birth.

For many years, I ran a practice whilst continuing training in the limbic system — learning how our nervous systems and primitive brains hold memory, stress, and trauma. Today, as a mother of two, my husband and I live in a deeply peaceful part of the world. I am a Ramana Maharshi devotee and have woven my lifetime of experience into my practice. Through each season I have made the slow walk home to myself. I reached where I needed to get to. My heart.

"I know what it means to hold the weight of transition in your tissues. I am here to help you build an adaptable vessel, release the physical weight of stress, stepping fully into your next season of being with joy."
Seasons of Being · The Invitation

Life is a continuous, unfolding dance, and at every threshold, you are presented with an invitation — to step onto the floor and move with the changing rhythm of your own biology. We do not stop dancing as the seasons change; we simply learn a new, more profound way of expressing.

Begin the Practice

The foundation begins with physical strength. Before we can release what the body is holding, we must build a vessel strong enough to support the transition.
